In
memory of our loving Dana Frank Whittaker, Sr. who passed
away Sunday, November 19, 2006 in Covington, LA. He was the
son of the late Paul and Catherine Whittaker. He is the
beloved husband of Christy Reiling Whittaker. Caring father
of Danny Whittaker, Jr. and brother of Patrick Whittaker,
loving fraternity brother of Phi Lambda Epsilon. Dana was a
delivery driver for Zoe's Bakery for many years.Visitation
will be Wednesday, November 22, 2006 from 2-3 pm at Schoen
Funeral Home in Covington. A memorial mass will follow at 3
pm from the funeral home chapel. He will be greatly missed
by family and friends. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to www.philambdaepsilon.com.

WHITTAKER Dana Frank Whittaker passed away on
Sunday, November 19, 2006 at his home in Covington,
LA. Dana was born in New Orleans, LA on March 26,
1950 to Paul and Catherine Pallizola Whittaker. He
attended Ridgewood Prep School and graduated from
East Jefferson High School where he was a member of
Phi Lambda Epsilon Fraternity. He also attended the
University of Southwest Louisiana. Dana was a loyal
and valued employee of Zoe's Bakery for more than 11
years. He had also taken advantage of his knowledge
and love of sports by working as a sports writer for
the Covington News Banner. Dana is survived by his
loving wife, Christy; son, Danny; brother, Patrick;
and cousins: Rick Whittaker and Peter Fagan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the
Memorial Mass at Schoen Funeral Home, 1414 S. Tyler
St., Covington, LA on Wednesday, November 22, 2006
at 3:00 p.m. Visitation is from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. In
