Albert ""Danny''
Daniel McCluskey, a native of Batesville, MS and a life-long
resident of the New Orleans area, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2004
at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 54. Mr. McCluskey was a
graduate of East Jefferson High School and attended Louisiana State
University, where he was a member of ACACIA Fraternity. He was a
retired salesman, married to Jan Piazza-McCluskey for 25 years. Son
of the late Robert Lee McCluskey and Myrtle Wright McCluskey of
Vicksburg, MS.Survivors include: one daughter; Jennifer McCluskey
Cannizzaro, two sons: Michael and Daniel McCluskey, two
grandchildren: Ryle McCluskey and Jake Cannizzaro; three sisters:
Robbie Clay of Oakwood, GA, Bessie Barnette of Houston, MS, Doris
Rosenkrans of West Point, MS; and one brother, Thomas G. McCluskey
of Kenner, LA. Uncle of Grady McCluskey and Kristi McCluskey
Smith.He is preceded in death by: his brother, Joe McCluskey; and
sister, Mary Francis McCluskey. Relatives and friends of the family
are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, May 15, 2004
at 12 noon in the chapel of All Faiths Funeral Home, 5200 Canal
Blvd. Visitation will be Saturday, May 15, 2004 from 10:00 AM until
service time.
