More bad news Phi Lambs, Chris Diliberto's dad New Orleans legend sports writer Buddy Diliberto has passed away from a heart attack. I know all the guys will miss Buddy and i can't express how sorry i am about this loss to Chris and his family. Update on brother Charles Cashio. Charlie had back surgey this morning. Doctor said surgey went fine. Charlie will be in recovery the rest of the day. You can make inquiries about charlie by calling Oschner Hosptial information. Me and Alvie will make visit tommorrow keep you posted. The only reason I'm concerned is who will cook for the Super Bowl?

WOW....What a reunion. It was awesome to see so many brothers, old friends, and all the others at the reunion. These were the greatest moments of many years.
Thank you Grossman Aaron for coordinating such a fantastic event. "The Other Guys" were awesome and very entertaining. This brought back so many wonderful memories. Hope to see you in May at Messina's. Greg Reno lives in my area and I understand Butch Hoke is only about an hour north of us. Maybe we can hook up with Jed and drive in together for the annual dinner. This was an awesome reunion but where was my big brother, Rookie?

Thanks to all of you for your support and prayers for my family and I. There will be a Memorial service at the Celebration Church at 2001 Airline Hwy on Wed at 1:00pm. Just got an email and phone call from Pete Rodriguez, Kenner Jr High QB with Ken Finney, Billy Robbins..etc (my 8th grade year, Shelby Toms' 7th grade year) He mentioned that he had pledged PLE while at EJ, but work, family, etc conflicted. He related a story of HOUSE PARTY one year in Biloxi with a few PLE brothers...someone had thrown a TV set out of the hotel window...they thought how can we fix this???? So someone threw it back into the room through the window, now its fixed!!!! I really find the story to be.......VERY ACCURATE and historicaly correct. yitbob.

Hope everyone had a GOOD Turkey Day. I made it home last Weds and am now back in Mobile. Thoughts are deceptively allusive. They come and go at an amazing rate and entangle us when we least expect it. So Brother O'Brien, to finally get back to your query. Yes I have attempted to contemplate on the future of Phi Lambda Epsilon and what sort of legacy or direction it could possibly take. Regretfully for you, it does not concern itself with "keeping the rooster above ground." The spacial thought revolves around something that is very close to me - death. the btdd pin's essence has moved me. pi is a transcendental number that is infinite, just like the brotherhood of phi lambda epsilon. i would like to make a motion that the pin should be an award to promote ple brotherhood. i propose that i look into my heart and pick a worthy brother who promotes brotherhood. the brother chosen is the caretaker for 3 months and then he must chose a worthy brother. remember the pin is pi, it's old, it's dirty, it's been pawned, but it was rescued and now it's in our safe keeping. I remember in 1968-69 Tom & I were stationed in Jacksonville, Fl. & they had a high school there that had a chapter. I met one of the members & spoke to him for about 20 minutes. I remember he was very concerned that I was from his school and he did not want to get in trouble because he belonged to a club. Not sure if there is any connection here but I remember it clearly - they were organized!!!

Brother Bubba, you joke but if a seance is what you need to make contact with the pin, by all means try it. You must break formatory thinking patterns and attempt to contact its' essence.
